Toyota Prius: Now, the 3rd Most Popular Car in the World

You know all of those robust Prius sales in America and Japan, you've been reading about on the Fairfield Toyota blog? Well, on a cumulative level, they've helped the Toyota Prius become the third best-selling vehicle worldwide. So, if you think you've been seeing more Prii on the roads of Muncy, chances are, you're right. People simply can't get enough of the Prius.
Fairfield Toyota is proud to say the number-one, best-selling vehicle in the world is also a Toyota: the Corolla. Perhaps the reason, we're so impressed by the performance of the Prius, however, is for its hybrid powertrain. Such widespread adoption is a clear sign "hybrid" is finally mainstream. Which is, of course, a good thing for our own health and the environment.
Will the Toyota Prius continue to top the charts beyond Q1 2012?
Despite some naysayers pinpointing the healthy sales from the first three months on a deluge of new Prius models hitting the market (i.e., the Prius c, Prius v, and Prius Plug-in Hybrid), we think so.
Sure, Toyota might be experiencing what some are calling a Prius surge. But Fairfield Toyota isn't convinced it will be as short term of a phenomenon as some suggest.
To see exactly why so many people worldwide are choosing to adopt one of Toyota's four Prius models, be sure to visit Fairfield Toyota at your next available convenience. We'd be happy to give you complete details, compare models, discuss car loan and Toyota lease options and arrange test drives.
